André &
Joan
(and
older
brothers
Henri-Jacques
and
Francois),
Paul
André
Blom
grew
up
with
a
love
of
movies
and
music.
This
led
to
him
developing
a
drive
to
not
only
absorb
as
much
of
it
as
possible,
but
also
to
create
it
himself.
After
graduating
with
a
B.A.
Degree
from
Stellenbosch
University
in
the
early
'90s,
Paul
attended
film
school.
From
there
he
has
been
on
the
independent
route
ever
since.
From
the
late
1980s
he's
been:

involved
with
various
bands
and
personal
musical
projects, incl. V.O.D / Terminatryx / F8 / K.O.B.U.S.

The Makabra Ensemble,
compiling
the
historic
Kopskoot!
album, executive producer on Ingrid Jonker tribute compilation ;

film
festivals

African
HorrorFest / The

Fest / Sound On Screen / Celludroid / Daring Doccies / Cinemaniacs) ;
> has
been
a
bilingual
entertainment
journalist
covering
movies,
music
&
gaming
since
1997

local

Stage,
Top
Forty, Muse, LMG, Something Wicked, BPM, Screen Africa)
&
syndicated
newspapers
and supplements (incl. The
Star, The
Argus,
Die
Burger,
Son, JIP, Sunday Life),

Paul
